Paddy is a Corporate Development Executive based at Marie Curie Cancer Care's London office. He has been with the charity since the end of 2003 and is responsible for gaining financial support from companies in The City.

Before joining Marie Curie Cancer Care, Paddy was a City-based recruitment consultant and head-hunter for nearly six years.

He said, “I realised that I was treading water in recruitment and wanted to make the most of my people and business skills in an environment I could really believe in.

“Moving to the voluntary sector was a leap of faith but I've never looked back. My day-to-day work is interesting, varied and really makes a difference – I work with all areas of the organisation to make sure that however a company chooses to support a charity, Marie Curie Cancer Care is in the forefront of their mind. This job enables me to build those long-lasting fundraising relationships that are so important for us and the people we care for.”
