Emmerdale's teenage stars wear charity wristbands

Two of Yorkshire's best known teenagers showed their support for Marie Curie Cancer Care this week.

Verity Rushworth and Charley Webb Verity Rushworth, better known as Donna Windsor, and Charley Webb, who plays Debbie Dingle, both from ITV1's hit soap, Emmerdale, leapt at the chance to sport the charity's limited edition wristbands.

Modelling the blue and yellow Marie Curie Cancer Care wristband the girls said they were delighted to be supporting the charity.

Verity, 19, said:

"These wristbands have already become quite popular not to mention fashionable. They are a great way of raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care as well as raising awareness of the invaluable work the nurses do."

Marie Curie Cancer Care's blue and yellow bands cost just £1 and are embedded with the charity's Devoted to Life slogan.
