The new ‘stripe’ bag follows hot on the heels of her 'multi floral' and 'blue spot' bags, which launched in early July.

The bag is on sale at larger Tesco stores for £3.50 with 50p from each sale being donated directly to the charity.

Marie Curie Cancer Care PR Executive Sean Carroll said: “We’re thrilled with the new ‘stripe’ bag, and hope it will be as popular as the two designs which came out in July.

“The bags are made entirely from recycled plastic, so are even good for the environment.

“A further three designs will be made available over the next four months, so watch this space.”

It is hoped that overall sales of the bags will raise £250,000.

Neither Tesco nor Cath Kidston profit from the sale of the bags.
