Girls Aloud are top of the pots
Pop sensation Girls Aloud are backing Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Blooming Great Tea Party celebrations this summer, supported by Homebase.
The girls are asking people to hold a tea party anytime in the summer, to raise money for the charity as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations.
Band member Nicola Roberts (second left) has her own reasons for supporting Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Her Granddad was cared for in the Marie Curie Hospice, Liverpool and was able to go home and spend his last days surrounded by his family, thanks to the support of the Marie Curie Nursing Service.
She said: “Every pound raised will help Marie Curie Nurses look after someone with a terminal illness.
“You can hold your party wherever you want, so join the fun and raise your cup with me for the Blooming Great Tea Party.”
If you would like to hold your own tea party, visit our Blooming Great Tea Party website for your free fundraising pack.
