Hays raise £380,000
Hays Specialist Recruitment has raised £380,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care over the past two years, smashing its fundraising target by £250,000.
Hays have extended their partnership with the
charity by another year
Staff have been so enthusiastic that the company has extended their partnership with the charity for another year.
The money was raised through a variety of activities, including football tournaments, quiz nights, raffles and Hays Cash for Care days.
A team of 20 employees also took part in Project Kenya, a trek and community project, which raised £82,000 alone.
Marie Curie Cancer Care Chief Executive Tom Hughes-Hallett said: “A really big thank you to all those at Hays who donated time and effort to raise such a fantastic amount for the charity.
“£380,000 will pay for 19,000 hours of Marie Curie Nursing care – helping us make a real difference to terminally ill people and their families.
“We also thank Hays for choosing to work with us for another year and are looking forward to working together over the coming months.”
