Give the gift of care this Christmas
Marie Curie Cancer Care has launched a range of Virtual Gift Cards for supporters who want to help cancer patients this Christmas.
A £20 gift card will provide an hour of nursing in the home of a terminally ill patient, allowing them to spend more time with their loved ones over the festive period.
A £10 gift card is enough to provide bereavement booklets to 40 children who have suffered the loss of a family member.
Sending a card is easy – supporters select a card on the charity’s Virtual Gift Card website and enter the email address of the recipient, along with the message they would like to accompany their gift.
Marie Curie Cancer Care Marketing Executive Claire Corlett said: “Our nursing care doesn’t stop over Christmas – in fact it’s more important than ever, as our nurses mean terminally ill patients can spend the festive period with their loved ones, instead of in hospital.
“So it’s wonderful that people can support their work while also giving a Christmas gift.”
