Each person has supported the charity in some way, either currently or in the past. Users simply have to hover their mouse pointer over a star portrait to see what they had to say.

Celebrity Manager Jane Cotton said: “I am really thrilled at the response we received from our celebrity supporters and for their contributions for our Birthday Wall of Fame.

“I think the messages which are so heartfelt really highlight the effect we have as a charity and show just how appreciated we are.

“I’d like to say big thank you to the design team for making it look so impressive.”

The messages come from such diverse names as Bob Hoskins and Sir David Frost, to Victoria Wood and Dame Judi Dench.
