We are currently working to update the Marie Curie End of Life Care Atlas with data for clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) in England and more recent data for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The updated Atlas will be available in autumn 2014.
If you would like to view the original Marie Curie End of Life Care Atlas with PCT level data in England, Health Boards in Scotland and Wales and Health and Social Care Trusts in Northern Ireland, please click here.
We have developed a version of the original Marie Curie End of Life Care Atlas optimised for use on tablets such as the iPad. To start using the tablet version click here.
You can also view place of death data for CCGs via Public Health England’s new end of life care profiles for CCGs. End of life care local authority profiles are also available.
In the interim, Marie Curie has produced an Atlas with CCG level data from the National Survey of Bereaved People (VOICES) carried out by the Office for National Statistics on behalf of the Department of Health. You can access this Atlas here.
The Marie Curie End of Life Care Atlas is a web-based mapping tool which brings together a broad range of data on end of life care across the UK’s health landscape. The tool allows users to compare end of life care across areas as well as compare areas against national benchmarks across a range of key indicators. It also gives people who plan and commission end of life care insight into care provision in their local areas.
The Marie Curie End of Life Care Atlas was developed by the Marie Curie Analytics team. We are keen to get feedback on how people are using the Marie Curie End of Life Care Atlas, what they find useful and what could be improved.
You can give us feedback via our short online survey or email any enquiries or comments to firstname.lastname@example.org
