Our downloadable leaflets and brochures, and our web pages can be printed, copied and used for private use, study or teaching purposes; however no modification may be made to the content. Marie Curie Trading Limited Terms and Conditions

 In these terms the reference to 'Marie Curie’ means Marie Curie Trading Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marie Curie Cancer Care whose registered office is at 89 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7TP, charity registration number 207994 (England and Wales), SC038731 (Scotland). Any reference to 'you' means the person purchasing the goods. Any reference to 'shop' means our online shop accessed via www.mariecurie.org.uk

By ordering and purchasing goods through the shop you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to the terms and conditions laid out below. These are the terms and conditions upon which you are buying your goods from Marie Curie Trading Ltd, a fully own subsidiary of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Please read them carefully.

1. All product prices shown on the shop are the set retail price (inclusive of VAT). They do not include postage and packing. Postage and packaging prices will need to be added at the order confirmation stage of your transaction (see clause 3 below). If eligible to receive a free gift, this will be included in your delivery of goods. Free gifts are subject to availability and Marie Curie Trading Ltd reserves the right to substitute gifts of an equivalent value. All offers are subject to specific restricted time frames and the 2010 Christmas offers for free compact mirror worth £3.00 on orders over £25.00, and, free postage and packaging plus a free Mr Big Hugs aromatherapy bear on orders of £35.01 and over, apply for the period 1st September 2010 to 17th December 2010.
2. Postage and packaging will be an additional charge added on to the value of your order. The charity can only accept orders on-line for delivery within the British Isles and BFPO address. 3. Postage is £3.95 for orders upto and including £35.00. For orders £35.01 and over, postage will be free. Your order will usually be delivered within 14 working days, however, please allow 21 days.
4. If you are not satisfied with any item for any reason, please contact us within seven days of delivery and we will be pleased to offer you a replacement or full refund. This is in addition to and not in substitution of your statutory rights. There is no need to telephone when sending a return, however, you will need to ensure we have the invoice, order number/details in order to identify you and refund you or provide an exchange item.
5. We recommend sending returns by recorded delivery, keeping proof of postage, as the cost of returning the item to us is the customer’s responsibility. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel via a service that insures you for the value of the goods. You will receive your refund credit, or cheque, or exchange order (when in stock) within two weeks of posting the good back to us (subject to normal postal services ie weather conditions, industrial action or other extraordinary circumstances outside the control of the charity).
6. Unfortunately, if you are returning a gift we have to refund the person who paid for the item. If you wish to exchange it, this information will be passed on to them too.
7. All product sizes and weights are approximate.
8. Marie Curie Trading Limited reserves the right to change the specification of the products from those featured on the website.
9. Supplies of goods are subject to availability and due to popular demand we may sell out quickly. We will endeavour to replenish stocks, but this is not always possible so if we are unable to fulfil your order our customer services team will contact you to ask if you want a refund or a substitute item.
10. Where payment is by credit/debit card transaction the person ordering must be the credit/debit card holder or have the holder's authorisation. Should the cardholder deny authorisation at a later stage, criminal charges may be brought against the person placing the order.
11. This contract is governed by English Law.

13. All the profits from the sale of items on the on-line shop are gifted to Marie Curie Cancer Care and go towards providing more nursing care for terminally ill cancer patients.
14. Marie Curie Cancer Care reserves the right to use the funds from the sale of the Parcels of Care products where they are most needed to continue to provide care for terminally ill people in its nine hospices and in their own homes.
