Marie Curie is the proud Charity Partner of Etape Caledonia 2012 – now a sell-out, closed-road cycling event. This 81 mile cycle challenge is the largest of its kind outside of mainland Europe and boasts traffic-free roads amidst the stunning scenery of Highland Perthshire. Participants will be helping to raise funds to support the work of our Marie Curie Nurses.
This year, we aim to raise £300,000, which will provide an extra 15,000 hours of Marie Curie Nursing across the UK.
We are delighted to announce that Marie Curie Cancer Care is now being supported by Endura Racing. We are excited to be associated with such a dynamic UK based racing team and are very pleased that they will be supporting our Daffodil Team through the Etape Series.
All 2012 general entries and Gold Bond charity places have now sold out but don’t be too downhearted, registration places are still available for the inaugural Etape Pennines cycle challenge.
The newest edition to the Marie Curie Cancer Care Etape Series promises an equally thrilling closed road experience - but this time amongst some of County Durham’s finest countryside.
If you have secured your own place, we are calling on all cyclists taking part in the Etape Series to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care by joining our Daffodil Team today.
Sign up with us today to ensure that you don't miss out on the Endura Pro Riders' tips from the top. They will be giving exclusive advice and tips to our cyclists on training, keeping your nutrition levels high and how to prepare for the event itself.
Endura clothing is the official merchandiser for the Etape Series and they will be supporting our Daffodil Team of cyclists by providing bespoke kit for those who fundraise for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Raise £350 or more by Friday April 27 and you could be cycling through the Highlands in one of our exclusive cycling jerseys.
