Standing 1,696 ft (571m) above the Hope and Edale valleys, the magnificent Iron Age settlement of Mam Tor is a famous landmark steeped in history.
Mam Tor, the 'shivering mountain', is constantly changing shape and is an amazing example of geology.
This 10 mile circular hike both challenging and rewarding. It combines ever-changing terrain and weather with natural history and stunning panoramas of the Peak District.
