Join us for our sponsored 10k walk in Athelstaneford this summer and raise money to help our Marie Curie Nurses continue providing care for terminally ill patients in your area.

Following the success of last year’s Walk Ten in Athelstaneford, which saw over 430 walkers helping towards the £436,000 that Walk Ten 2011 raised for Marie Curie Cancer Care, we are delighted to announce the return of another stunning walk taking place in East Lothian.

Beginning in the historic village of Athelstaneford, this magnificent walk will take you across beautiful farmland, giving you the opportunity to admire the panoramic views of East Lothian as the sun sets.

From the Hopetoun Monument to Berwick Law, and Bass Rock to the Pentlands – this stunning evening walk will truly be a night to remember.

Join the celebrations

Ensure you pack your picnic basket and join in our festival-like atmosphere as we gather to celebrate the work of your local Marie Curie Nurses with live music and family entertainment.

The evening will end with celebrations to mark the time Marie Curie Nurses begin their night shifts – to remember the fantastic work they do in caring for people with terminal cancer and other illnesses.
