Join us for our sponsored 10k walk at Grimsthorpe Castle this summer and raise money to help our Marie Curie Nurses continue providing care for terminally ill patients in your area.
Following the success of last year’s Walk Ten at Grimsthorpe Castle, which saw over 200 walkers help to reach the £436,000 that Walk Ten 2011 raised for Marie Curie Cancer Care, we are delighted to announce the return of another stunning Lincolnshire walk.
With exclusive access to the lake, gardens and woodlands of the historic Grimsthorpe Castle estate, enjoy a glorious British evening stroll as the sun sets.
Ensure you pack your picnic basket and then sit back and join in our festival-like atmosphere as we gather to celebrate the work of your local Marie Curie Nurses with live music and family entertainment.
The evening will end with a spectacular firework display to mark the time Marie Curie Nurses begin their night shifts – to remember the fantastic work they do in caring for people with terminal cancer and other illnesses.
Online registration for this event is now open and priced at £10. You will also be able to register for this Walk Ten event on the night. On the night registration is priced at £20.
