Welcome to the Marie Curie FAQs page. Find below answers to our most frequently asked questions.

We are here to help you with any queries you may have. If you have a query that has not been answered by the FAQs below, you can email us at supporter.relations@mariecurie.org.uk.

I am not sure if my donation has gone through – how can I check?
You should have a thank you email from us confirming that your donation has been received. You should also have a confirmation email from Worldpay with a transaction ID you can use for tracking – note: there is sometimes a delay in receiving this email. If neither email appears in your inbox, please check your junk/spam folder and if you have not received either email at all, we would be grateful if you could check with your bank.

If you need further assistance, please email Supporter Relations or call them on 0800 716 146.
I have not previously registered but cannot use my email address to do so as the system says it is already registered.
It is possible that a record exists in our system if you have registered to take part in an event or have previously purchased our merchandise. Please contact Supporter Relations with your name and email address so that a member of staff can try to locate you on the system.
My password is not working / I have forgotten my password.
If the password you have entered is being returned as incorrect, please check that you have not included any spaces. Passwords are case sensitive. If this does not help or you have forgotten your password, visit the forgotten password page and enter your email address and we will send you instructions on how to reset your password.
What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a scheme introduced by the Inland Revenue which allows us to claim an extra 25p for every £1 that you donate - at no extra cost to you. For more detailed information on Gift Aid, visit our Gift Aid Explained page.

I want to do a parachute jump for Marie Curie but can’t find it on your website. Why not?

As parachute jumps are potentially dangerous, there are serious legal and insurance implications for us. As such, we do not actively encourage people to take part in a parachute jump for Marie Curie Cancer Care. However, you may choose to participate in a parachute jump at your own risk and raise funds in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. If you decide to do this we can send you a fundraising pack with ideas of how to raise sponsorship and details on how you can bank your money.

If you would like to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care through an adventurous activity, you may be interested in taking part in one of our UK mountain challenges or even an overseas challenge. Visit our events pages to find out more.
