Keep up-to-date with all the Big build news and find out how you can get involved.
The new Marie Curie Hospice, West Midlands will offer:
Each patient will have a spacious single room with en-suite facilities to allow privacy and dignity.
The rooms will also have direct access to the gardens so they can feel the sun on their faces and enjoy the fresh air.
A significantly expanded day therapy unit for outpatients will have capacity for twice as many patients, giving better access to symptom management therapies and group activities.
A dedicated area for group activities such as art therapy, gentle exercise and crafts will give patients the opportunity to meet and share their experiences with other patients.
The new hospice will offer greater capacity for more counselling and emotional support to help patients cope with their illness day-to-day.
Many patients suffer serious anxiety, fatigue and breathlessness and therapies such as aromatherapy, acupuncture, massage, reflexology and Reiki can help alleviate some of the symptoms.
Whatever you can give will help make a big difference to people in the West Midlands.
From a summer walk to a Grand Canyon trek, take part and raise money for the Big build.
There are so many ways you can help us reach our fundraising goal for the new hospice.
