Every day, Marie Curie Nurses care for and support people with terminal illnesses and their families. Our Real Life Stories show just how amazing our nurses are, whether they’re helping someone to enjoy the familiar comforts of home or giving them extra support to attend a big family event.
You may have already heard two of these stories on the radio, A Good Night’s Sleep and The Good China, voiced by actor Dominic West. They have really got people talking, and now you can find out more about the people behind them.
You can also read Alison Steadman’s story, The Opening Night, below. Alison, who features in our Great Daffodil Appeal TV ad, recalls how nurses at the Marie Curie Hospice, Liverpool, really helped her mother.
