Give us an hour

Volunteer as a street collector for the Great Daffodil Appeal

Give us an hour or two of your time and volunteer at a local Great Daffodil Appeal collection.

Each year the Great Daffodil Appeal raises much-needed funds to help our Marie Curie Nurses care for people with terminal cancer and other illnesses.

We need thousands of people across the UK to volunteer for our collections so that we can raise money to help more terminally ill patients and get as many people as possible wearing daffodils.

I've got an hour

Why it's great to be a street collector:

You can:

  • collect donations to help terminally ill people in your area
  • get people wearing daffodils in support of our work
  • meet and greet people in your community
  • choose a time and place that suits you
  • have fun while raising money for charity

And we'll supply everything you need including collection tins and daffodils, so it couldn't be easier.

"Last year was my first year collecting for Marie Curie Cancer Care and I loved it. I couldn’t believe how generous people were and it felt so good to know I was doing something really positive for a great cause. This year I plan to recruit all my friends to join me" – Emma Elmer

With thousands of collections taking place nationwide, there's bound to be one near you.
