Daffodil Schools Challenge

An active citizenship project

Daffodil Schools Challenge is an active citizenship and fundraising project for secondary school students aged 11-16.

The project challenges students to:

  • raise awareness for Marie Curie Cancer Care
  • raise money to help Marie Curie Nurses continue providing free care and support to terminally ill patients.

Working in teams, students will construct a visual display based on the charity's daffodil emblem either in their school grounds or local community.

  • Lesson plans that link the challenge with Key Stage 3 and 4 in subjects such as Citizenship, PHSE, Business Studies, English, and Art and Design
