Dear volunteers,
Thank you so much for everything you do.
I never cease to be amazed by what our volunteers do for Marie Curie and am very grateful for their fantastic commitment.
As a charity, we couldn’t offer a number of really important services without people donating their time as volunteers.
Volunteers offer complementary therapies to patients, provide bereavement support for families, assist with charity administration, support our fundraising activities and help run our charity shops.
They give up huge amounts of time, take on unglamorous but necessary work and do it with a smile. Every one of our volunteers helps give people with a terminal illness the choice of where they die - and it makes a massive difference.
If you have not tried volunteering, there’s no better time to get involved and I encourage you to find out more about all of the ways you can volunteer for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
With very best wishes,
Ruth Bravery
