"All the nurses and carers are great. It helps just to meet up each week and talk. Thank you all."
Mrs F, Lisburn
We welcome adults of all ages to our modern, fully equipped hospice day service department.
With group activities and individual appointments we can help you choose the best options to suit your health needs, lifestyle and circumstances.
To help you stay in your own home and be cared for locally, we offer our day services in different venues each day of the week.
Our contact us page outlines the opening times and locations for day services.
Services are always free for patients and families.
Our specialists can help with different aspects of your illness and will recommend a personal programme of care.
Your care will focus not only on the physical symptoms of your illness, but also on helping you to regain control and improve your overall quality of life.
As part of your programme you will be able to choose from a menu of services including:
We also offer advice and support for families and carers.

A nurse consultant will look at your problems with you and suggest specific therapies to help you manage breathlessness or other uncomfortable symptoms.
You will also learn techniques to help you relax and deal with the emotional impact of your illness.
You can meet others in a similar situation and your carer, a family member, or friend can come too.
If you normally receive bisphosphonate infusions or blood transfusions in hospital, you can have them here at the hospice instead.
During your visit, you can also take advantage of our facilities and services including our complementary therapies.
Complementary therapy sessions are available to both patients and carers.
Our wide range of safe and natural complementary therapies do not replace traditional care, but people often comment on their relaxing qualities and overall benefits.
