Tandem Jump

Although we can offer a Static Line or and Accelerated Freefall as a charity jump, by far the most popular is the Tandem Jump, where you are harnessed to a professional parachute instructor and will free fall several thousand feet before deploying the parachute. Before your jump you will spend the day with a professional trainer to ensure you are fully prepared.

To complete a Tandem Jump in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care, we ask that you raise £400. The table below shows you when the money is due and who it should be paid to.

Cost What for? Where to? Paid when?
£50 Deposit to secure your jump London Parachute School Upon booking your jump
£185 Cost of your jump The Drop Zone where you will jump On the day of your jump
£165 Marie Curie Cancer Care Marie Curie Cancer Care One week prior to your jump

Not all of this money will be received by Marie Curie Cancer Care as some will act as a deposit to secure your jump and the cost of your jump.

Jumper of the month

In May this year Dot Whiteley completed a tandem parachute jump for Marie Curie Cancer Care having lost her beloved husband Rod to cancer at our Liverpool Hospice. What makes Dot our “Jumper of the Month” is that this wonderful lady is 73 years old and dared to jump from 14,000 feet in order to raise over £4000 for us to ensure the vital work we do continues.

We’d like to say a huge “thank you” to Dot and all the other wonderful supporters who completed a parachute Jump for Marie Curie Cancer Care this May.
