BMF 5k and10K are not your average running events. They are designed to get you wet and muddy and push you to your limits.
But don’t take our word for it, here are some testimonies:
"The quality of the event and smiling faces on the participants was a testament to the hard work, enthusiasm and dedication of the BMF staff. Well done chaps!"
Andy Broadfoot
"Although there were obstacles such as getting stuck in the massive mud puddle and crawling up hills on my hands and knees, crossing the line and getting the free milkshake was enough to ensure I've put my name down for the next one!"
Genie Powers
"The race starts off as a gentle jog uphill and then rapidly turns into the mother of all epic battles between your mind and body, much to my disgust on many occasions my body won and I started to walk"
Mansukh Nakrani
Once you have secured a place in one of these events, please let us know you are running for us and we will send you a Marie Curie Cancer Care running and fundraising pack.

THE ULTIMATE OVERSEAS CHALLENGE
BMF also organise The Kinabalu Challenge between November 14 and November 21, 2008.
This 10 day adventure in the jungle of Borneo for teams of four compete in a series of challenges including biking, running, white water rafting, bamboo rafting, kayaking and racing up Mr Kinabalu, the highest mountain in South East Asia.
Competitors will be trained in the essential jungle skills by our experienced guides before the challenge starts and will then have to use these skills to their best effect while competing.
The Kinabalu Challenge is tough, especially when done in 35 degree temperatures and 95% humidity. It is however not just for the super humans amongst us; with decent training prior to the event almost anyone can complete the challenge, though the fitter you are the more you will enjoy it.
By raising £2,950, this will cover the cost of your place on the trip, flights and will give Marie Curie Cancer Care approximately £1,000 (depending on cost of flights) which will allow us to provide 500 hours of nursing care to people suffering from cancer and their families in their own home.
