Bike the Baltic 2008

Get on your bike and help celebrate Marie Curie Cancer Care’s 60th anniversary with our next great cycle challenge – a 2,000km Baltic adventure from Warsaw to St Petersburg between August and September 2008.

Bike the Baltic 2008

Good luck to all our Bike the Baltic cyclists as they embark on the ultimate cycle challenge in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Well done with all your fundraising to date. If you haven’t set up your own sponsorship page you can do so here.

We hope you have made use of all our training and fitness tips, and most of all have had fun meeting fellow Marie Curie Cancer Care cyclists.

We have installed a GPS tracker on each route so that your friends and family can keep up to date with your progress.

We've set up a Facebook event page so that you can keep in touch with other people on your route - you can find us here.

When you get back...

The new friendships you’ve made in your team don’t have to end. Marie Curie Cancer Care has a Flickr group called Bike the Baltic that you can tag all your photos to.

If you’re already a Flickr member, simply upload all the pictures that you want to share and add them to the group.

You can also tag them with the name Bike the Baltic 2008 and we’ll be able to stream all your pictures on to our website for one easy share point.

There is even a discussion forum for you to post messages to fellow cyclists.

If you do not have a Flickr account you can sign up free here.

This service will be available from mid August.
