Now that you have committed to taking on an event for us, the next stage is hitting your fundraising target.

Dave Harvey became a supporter of the charity about nine years ago and has raised thousands of pounds in that time. He has even organised his own long distance treks throughout the UK. He has also taken part in two overseas treks, to Nepal and Everest base camp.

He says:

“The overseas treks were a brilliant experience, and extremely challenging but very rewarding. There was great satisfaction in completing this once in a lifetime experience with a group of like minded people all aiming for Everest Base Camp and in raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.”
