Organising your own event can be challenging, but it should also be great fun.

Before you even start planning, consider the following points:

  • Braistorm your ideas with friends and agree on something that is realistic and likely to work
  • Write a plan and a budget – If it looks too complicated, change it to make it easier to manage
  • Put a time frame against your plan – building in time to organise and promote it
  • Review your plan and budget regularly to make sure you are on track
