We are delighted to be BUPA’s Nominated Charity for the BUPA Great North Run, the world’s biggest and best half marathon.
Starting in Newcastle and finishing in South Shields, this race is very popular and places fill up fast.
The public ballot is now closed. You can check whether you have been successful by visiting www.greatrun.org. If you are unsucessful in the public ballot we have a number of Gold Bond places available. If you would like to apply for one of these places, please email us for an application form.
If you have your own place place, you can choose to run for us by joining our Daffodil Team. Simply let us know you have a place, and we will send you a free runner’s kit, which includes a free running vest, daffodil deely boppers and a rain poncho. We will also support you throughout your run, with regular newsletters, training and fundraising hints and tips.
We will once again be displaying a giant Wall of Memories at this year's Great North Run and we are looking for your special messages and photos. Everyone has their own special reason for running, and as a Daffodil Runner we're giving you the chance to post your personal message on our Wall of Memories.
