Join us for a sponsored 10k walk with a difference at Sissinghurst Castle this summer and raise money to help our Marie Curie Nurses continue providing care for terminally ill patients in your area.
Last year over 7,600 walkers attended Walk Ten events around the country raising over £436,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. This year sets out to be even bigger with a new walk taking place in Kent.
Enjoy a twilight stroll and soak up the rich atmosphere of the Castle with its stunning views of the Kentish landscape. Explore the woods, farmland and streams surrounding the grand Elizabethan House while the sun sets.
After the walk, join our festival-like atmosphere as we gather to celebrate the work of your local Marie Curie Nurses with live music and family entertainment.
The evening will end with a spectacular fireworks display to mark the time Marie Curie Nurses begin their night shifts – to remember the fantastic work they do in caring for people with terminal cancer and other illnesses.
Online registration for this event is now open and priced at £10. You will also be able to register for this Walk Ten event on the night. On the night registration is priced at £20.
