Marie Curie Nursing and Hospices

Marie Curie Nursing

Marie Curie Cancer Care Nurse (close up) with bunch of daffodilsMarie Curie Nurses provide care for patients with palliative care needs in their own homes.

This care is provided in partnership with the District Nurse, usually as a planned rather than an emergency contribution, and may be given through the day or the night.

Service agreements made with your PCT will specify the exact amount of Marie Curie Nursing care available to you each year.

Requests for a Marie Curie Nurse should be made through your District Nurse or Healthcare Assistant (HCA).
