Cate joined the MCPCRU in October 2006, and is a Research Fellow working on a randomised controlled trial in advance care planning in advanced cancer.
Cate graduated with a BSc in Psychology with Sociology from the University of Sunderland in 2002 and an MSc in Health Psychology from the University of Bath in 2004.
Before her post in the unit, Cate was a Research Fellow in the Centre for Behavioural and Social Sciences in Medicine at UCL.
