Jane is Senior Research Fellow and joined the MCPCRU in April 2007. Her role is to assist in increasing the research portfolio of the unit. This involves developing new research proposals, seeking funding, and providing research advice and support for Marie Curie Cancer Care staff.
Prior to joining the unit Jane worked in the Centre for Behavioural and Social Sciences in Medicine at UCL for eleven years gaining broad experience of Health Psychology research. Past research has been in the areas of doctor-patient communication, and neuropsychological outcome following various surgical and medical procedures.
Jane is a Chartered Health Psychologist, and member of the British Psychological Society and the UK Society of Behavioural Medicine.
