Liz is an old age psychiatrist and has recently been appointed as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mental Health Sciences at University College London.
This innovative post is partly funded by Marie Curie Cancer Care (with Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust) with a remit to develop the research base in palliative care for frail and older people, irrespective of their diagnosis.
Liz has published on palliative care for people with dementia and is currently researching interventions to improve end of life care.
