The 2008 Marie Curie Cancer Care Predator Cup will be fished on Sunday November 23, 2008 on the usual stretch of the river Great Ouse, near Ely, Cambs.
Registration will take place at the Ely Beet Sports & Social Club in Lynn Road, Ely from 7.30am onwards, with fishing taking place between 9.00am-3.00pm. Pegs are £15 each with the usual £5 optional pool.
For the first time this year, the event will be supported by the piking legend Eddie Turner (ET) and his company ET Original. There will be prizes for the biggest pike and zander caught and cash prizes for the first three in the competition. The winner will also receive the Marie Curie Cancer Care Predator Cup 2008 Trophy.
Junior anglers are welcome and if they wish to fish with their parent or guardian this can be accommodated. As with previous years, the event will be marshalled by members of the Cambridge region of the PAC. The event will include a mega raffle and tackle stand.
