The Comber Greenway is a seven mile traffic-free section of the old Belfast to Comber railway line.

The path provides a tranquil green corridor all the way from Comber to the heart of East Belfast with views along the route of Stormont and Scrabo Tower.

The most remarkable feature of the Comber Greenway is the feeling of rural escape from urban bustle.

Our walk will start at the Belfast Road in Comber along the Greenway, six miles to the Knock Road for a short rest and refreshments at the Marie Curie Hospice, Belfast.

Walkers will then make the return journey back to Comber completing the 12 miles and making a real difference to the lives of cancer patients and their families by raising funds for the hospice.
