Marie Curie Cancer Care Bridge Tournament

Entries are now open for the Marie Curie Cancer Care 2009- 10 Bridge Tournament with play running between October 2009 and March 2010. This nationwide tournament has been running since 1995 and has raised over £215,000 so far.

Marie Curie Cancer Care would like to invite you to join our Bridge Tournament.

You could help make a real difference to the lives of cancer patients and their families, so come and join the thousands who play.

When?

The tournament runs from October 2009 to March 2010.

Where?

Our American style Bridge tournament is open for players of any standard and games are played on a social/fun basis. The games are not played in public and you can choose to play over lunch, dinner or maybe a few drinks.

Who?

Players enter the tournaments in pairs, as part of a group. Each group consists of up to six pairs and you play the other pairs in your group. You can invite your friends and family to play along with you.

Registration is now open and we would encourage anyone interested to sign up now. The entry fee is just £3.00 per person and we ask for a suggested donation of £17.00 to accompany your entry.

2,100 people in over 178 groups registered to take part in the 2007/08 tournament and they raised an amazing amount of over £40,000 which will provide practical nursing care for people with cancer and other terminal illnesses across the UK.
