How to take part in Mini Pots of Care

Taking part in Mini Pots of Care won't cost your school or group a penny. We will provide you with everything you need in the free Mini Pots of Care kit.

Planting and painting

Free Mini Pots of Care kits containing all the materials and resources for taking part will be delivered to every registered school and group between September and mid October.

These include full instructions for teachers and leaders on how to plant the daffodils and take part in Paint Your Mini Pot Day.

Learning

  • Online resources which support Key Stages 1 and 2 of the national curriculum are avaliable to download. These detailed lesson plans and fun activities can be used in the classroom throughout the autumn and spring terms.
  • Activity resources for uniformed groups and youth groups which support your programme requirements are also available to download.

Fundraising

Each registered school and group receives fundraising information and ideas in the teachers/leaders instructions booklet included in the kit.

The kit also contains donation envelopes and a letter to parents that each child can take home to help raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
