Marie Curie Cancer Care is holding 21 Health and Wellbeing Day events across the UK in 2008, running from April through to November, and another 26 Health and Wellbeing Day events in 2009. To find out if there is an event near you, please call us on 020 7599 7772.
We hope that you are able to join us as we think you will thoroughly enjoy yourself. The event is free of charge, and you are very welcome to bring a guest along with you.
Come along to a Health and Wellbeing Day near you for the opportunity to meet your local Community Fundraising Team, and to discover more about the great work that the charity are doing in your local area and across the UK.
You will hear about a number of exciting ways in which you can support the charity in its 60th anniversary year, including the special way of giving through a gift in your Will.
A number of local volunteer Complementary Therapists will also be on hand to offer you the opportunity to try a number of therapies. There will be a number of stands available throughout the session for people to experience complementary therapies first hand.
Finally, one of our very special Marie Curie Nurses will also be attending the event. She will be able to give you an insight to the invaluable work our nurse’s do, both in our hospices and within peoples homes.
She will also speak about a wonderful way supporters can ensure Marie Curie Cancer Care is always there to help people coping with cancer, by leaving a gift in their Will.
