Automatically donate your tax refund
Taxpayers can now donate some or all of any refund they get to a charity of their choice. Inland Revenue will pay the money directly to the charity, and the charity will also get basic rate tax relief on the sum.
In order to specify Marie Curie Cancer Care as your charity of choice, you need to write a code in the relevant box on the form. Marie Curie Cancer Care's code is MAA08JG.
Gift Aid
Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways of giving to charity. It is a scheme introduced by the Inland Revenue which allows us to claim 28p for every £1 that you donate - as long as you pay at least that amount in tax and give the charity permission to claim.
For example, if you give us £5 a month we can claim an extra £1.40, making your gift worth £6.40 a month.

Payroll giving
Payroll Giving is a facility that enables you to donate to Marie Curie Cancer Care direct from your pay on a regular basis. It’s one of the easiest ways to give to charity and what's more it can be tax efficient.
For example, if you pledge £5 from your gross salary each month the cost to you is only £3.90 and yet Marie Curie Cancer Care receives £5.50.
