Videos

Grief in the family is a 14-minute animated video and booklet from Leeds Animation Workshop looking at ways children and young people respond to grief and what adults around them can do to help. You can find more information about the video and a link to the order form at Leeds Animation Workshop.

The Child Bereavement Charity produces Someone died: it happened to me, a video for children and young people. Girls and boys aged seven to 18 talk about their feelings when someone important in their life dies.

The charity also produces When a Child Grieves - a double training video incorporating the children's video Someone died: it happened to me. This double video is recommended for viewing for family or professionals where a family or a child is bereaved

The Childhood Bereavement Network produces A death in the lives of … , a video showing a group of young people aged 13 to 16 from a range of backgrounds talking about the kind of support they needed to help them cope with bereavement, and It will be ok, a video in which 13 to 18 year olds talk about their bereavements.
