Christmas collections unwrapped
We urgently need you to collect for Marie Curie this Christmas so we can continue to provide vital care and support for people living with a terminal illness and their families.
Signing up for a Christmas collection with Marie Curie is so easy and collecting can be loads of fun, as any of our veteran supporters can tell you. For those that may not have collected for us before and might have questions about what collecting is like, here are a few reasons to sign up today.
You won't be there all day
When you collect for Marie Curie, you can choose any timeslot that works for you, whether that's for a single hour or different collections over a number of days. Any time that you can donate to collect will make a huge difference to those living with a terminal illness and their families this Christmas.
You can bring your friends and family
When you sign up for a Christmas collection, there’s an option to bring along friends and family – in fact, we encourage it! What better way to spread Christmas cheer and inspire those vital donations than a group of friends and loved ones having fun?
It really does make all the difference
It costs £20 to fund one hour of nursing care, and the average raised by a group of collectors funds over 13 hours. At this time of year, that could mean a person living with a terminal illness is able to spend Christmas at home surrounded by their loved ones.
The time you volunteer will help Marie Curie Nurses be there so people living with a terminal illness and their families can spend Christmas together, for what may be the last time – please sign up for a Christmas collection today.
