It's Blooming Great Tea Party Day! I can't believe this day is finally here! I’ve been baking up a storm all week, including my Marie Curie official tea party cake - my Buttermilk Crumb Cake with Cream Cheese Drizzle  . The table is ready, the bunting is up, the stalls in my living room are set up - now all I need is my guests. I’m not quite sure how many people are coming, but I’m hoping for around 40. The raffle has nearly 20 prizes, so those are good odds if I do get 40 people! I’ve loved all of the preparations for my tea party, and it's been really fun to be able to share my experience with all of you. I'm definitely going to take lots of pictures today, and share them on Facebook and Twitter so you can see how it's all come together. Planning a tea party is a lot of fun, but today is what it’s all about! Having the opportunity to socialise with my friends whilst raising money for Marie Curie is such a great way to fundraise. I will be putting donation boxes around the house, but with a £5 entry fee and a great raffle, I'm confident that I will raise a good sum of money. I hope you've enjoyed reading my blog and I leave you with one more recipe to make your Blooming Great Tea Party even more delicious!
