Olivia Colman and Jim Carter voice our new radio campaign and ask people to donate an hour
Our new radio campaign has launched today, Monday 6 January, voiced by actors Olivia Colman and Jim Carter. The advert is appealing for people to donate an hour of their time during March to help collect donations and give out daffodil pins to support our Great Daffodil Appeal.
Listen out for the adverts throughout January on radio stations including Heart, Magic, Classic FM, Absolute Radio and Smooth Radio.
Listen to the adverts below:
Olivia Colman, who recorded the advert at a London recording studio recently, said: “I’m supporting Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal and urging anyone who has an hour or two to spare this March to sign up and collect funds for the charity. The money you raise by encouraging people to donate and wear the charity’s daffodil pin will help Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to people with terminal illnesses in their own homes, as well as vital support for their families, at the most difficult of times.”
Jim Carter said: “I am calling on everyone who has an hour to spare this March to please sign up to collect funds for Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal. Just an hour of your time will help Marie Curie Nurses provide more care to people with terminal illnesses at home or in one of its hospices, as well as invaluable support for their loved ones.”
