Track Sir Ranulph Fiennes' Marathon des Sables progress
The Marathon des Sables is the toughest footrace on earth, and Sir Ranulph Fiennes is running it to raise money for Marie Curie. The six-day ultra-marathon covers 156 miles of the Sahara Desert, so it's hot, dry and, quite possibly, Sir Ranulph's toughest challenge yet. You can see how he's getting on in our data widget. It shows you his route through the desert, his heart rate, speed, how much fluid he's using and more. You can donate to Sir Ranulph’s challenge by visiting his JustGiving page or by texting RUN to 70007 to donate £5.
