Registration to attend the Marie Curie Annual Palliative Care Research Conference is now open

This year’s Marie Curie Annual Palliative Care Research Conference, held jointly with the Palliative Care Section of the Royal Society of Medicine, will take place at the Royal Society of Medicine on Friday 27 March 2015.

This year's conference will focus on the future of palliative care and  include expert researchers who are working to ensure palliative care continues to improve. The presentations will cover clinical outcome measures, social media and priorities for research.

Speakers include:

  • Laura Middleton-Green, Lecturer, School of Nursing, University of Bradford

  • Dr Sabine Best, Head of Research, Marie Curie

  • Alistair Canaway, Research Fellow, University of Birmingham

  • Dr Emma Carduff, Research Lead, Marie Curie Hospice, Edinburgh

  • Professor Scott  Murray, St Columba's Hospice Chair of Primary Palliative Care, Primary Palliative Care Research Group, Centre for Population Health Sciences, University of Edinburgh

The conference is open to all organisations and healthcare professionals interested in palliative and end of life care. CPD accreditation will be available for medical professionals.
