Singers, bands and bankers among Great Daffodil Appeal supporters

We're now two-thirds of the way through this year's Great Daffodil Appeal, and we've been so heartened by your support so far.

Thanks so much for all your social media posts, tweets, shares and likes. We've rounded up some top posts from the past week. And don't forget, please donate and wear a daffodil when you see our supporters, or donate online. There's still time and we're truly grateful!

Collector success

Our collectors have been doing a brilliant job across the UK. We've pinned some of the best pics to our Pinterest board, which is now awash with yellow. Who knows, you might spot yourself!

Supportive singers

We've had lots of support from musicians and singers. British synthpop band Emile's Telegraphic Transmission Device are donating half of the proceeds from the sale of their single Marie Curie (about the scientist) to Marie Curie. And four-part vocal harmony group The Lacettes made this brilliant YouTube video in support of The Great Daffodil Appeal.

Good work

The Great Daffodil Appeal wouldn't be the same without support from companies and organisations. This week, tweets from Barclays at Canary Wharf and recruitment firm Gemini Search grabbed our attention. Thanks a million!

Canine capers

Our #DaffsonDogs pooch parade has gained even more momentum, with dachshunds to dalmatians donning a daff for The Great Daffodil Appeal. These dinky dogs sure know how to pose for the camera.
