Donating at funeral services

One way to celebrate the life of a loved one is to ask family and friends to make a donation at their funeral service. Often people choose to make a donation in lieu of flowers.

Giving in memory at funeral or memorial services

If you are a funeral director or family member making funeral arrangements and would like to support Marie Curie at the services, we can provide you with a number of materials free of charge.

  • Donation envelopes: These envelopes include Gift Aid forms that allow us to claim 25p for every £1 that people donate at no extra cost. You can place an order for these from your local fundraising office.
  • A bereavement guide: Many families find this useful at this difficult time and we can offer you copies to distribute to people. You can place an order by contacting your local fundraising office.

For details of your local fundraising office, please call 0800 716 146.

Sending in donations

If you have set up an In Memory fundraising page, you can easily add these to your fund. If you do not have a page, please write a cheque payable to 'Marie Curie' and send it to your local fundraising office.
