Thank you to everyone who took part in Walk to Remember, West Sussex for Marie Curie. We hope you enjoyed it and had a great night. Your fundraising is helping our nurses give vital care for people living with a terminal illness across the UK.

Did you reach your target? If not, there' still time - take our fundraising challenge to see how much you could raise!

Join thousands of people walking in memory of someone they love or simply come along to support Marie Curie at Walk to Remember West Sussex.

Do your walk in pairs or groups and enjoy the evening, the memories and the walking itself with your friends and family. It’s a way of doing something great while celebrating a loved one. And at 10km long, or just over 6 miles, the walks are suitable for people of all abilities and ages, and you won’t need to spend weeks in training either.

This evening 10k walk will take you through the picturesque landscape of Wakehurst Place, the country estate of the Royal Botanic Gardens. You'll explore Wakehurst's natural woodland, lakes and formal gardens. On completion, relax with fellow walkers to enjoy your picnic, or delicious hot food available to buy at the event.

After completing the walk, settle down and enjoy the festival-like celebrations with live music, entertainment and a fire juggling performance at 10pm. This coincides with the time many Marie Curie Nurses start their night shift, providing care to people with terminal illnesses and their families in their own homes. Whether you’re walking in memory, fundraising for us or both, we’d love you to come along.

There are new parking restrictions at the event, but parking for this walk is free.

Your £10 registration fee includes a T-shirt entry fee to the venue and car parking. All proceeds go to Marie Curie.

Helping to provide even more care

It was so worth it. I laughed and cried and had the best night out I've had in a long time. Well done Marie Curie!
