Scottish Widows’ colleagues have raised enough money to cover the full costs of operating Marie Curie’s Edinburgh hospice for a day. Due to the community spirit, compassion and dedication of colleagues in our business, Marie Curie can continue to provide essential palliative care for terminally ill people in Edinburgh and West Lothian.
Colleagues across Scottish Widows raised over £6,175 through a series of activities in 2016, including running the daffodil street collection in the local community around Port Hamilton, a very successful cake bake, a prize draw raffle and assisted with the M&S bag pack at Christmas.
That’s not all. A large proportion has been doubled through Matched Giving making even more of a difference.
