Virgin Trains East Coast and #LforLewis

Lewis Vaughan was a Customer Service Assistant for Virgin Trains East Coast. Lewis was cared for at the Marie Curie Hospice, Edinburgh for a number of months during his year long battle with cancer, before he passed away in May 2016. He was just 32 years old.

At Virgin Trains East Coast we like to think of ourselves as a family, working together for Virgin and on the Railway. It’s always amazing to see everyone pull together when one of our own is in need – and that’s just what happened in Edinburgh.

The team at Edinburgh rallied together to raise awareness and money for Marie Curie  through #LforLewis. On 20 October - the day that Virgin Trains East Coast and #LforLewis will be paying for the Edinburgh hospice - we say thank you for the care of our friend and work colleague.
