The Keith Coombs Trust

The hospice is very grateful to the Keith Coombs Trust for paying for a day of care on 10 January 2017. This is the second consecutive year that the Trust has paid for this special date, which would have been Keith’s birthday.

Marie Curie West Midlands Hospice

A lifelong West Midlands businessman, Keith set up S&U Plc, and the company thrived in Birmingham for 50 years before finding its current home in Solihull. Keith was also Chairman of Birmingham City FC for a decade, and lived in Knowle for over thirty years.

Anthony and Graham Coombs, sons of Keith, set up the Keith Coombs Trust to honour their father and his dedication to the local community. Anthony explains why they support the hospice:

“The Keith Coombs Trust, founded in memory of our father, whose birthday was January 10th, is dedicated to supporting those who cannot immediately help themselves. This might be the result of disability, circumstances or illness. The work Marie Curie does for the terminally ill, is Christ like in its love and mercy for others and their families in very sad times. Long may it continue.”
