Carers Week 8 - 14 June 2015
This week is Carers Week, an annual campaign which aims to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.
This year the campaign focuses on building Carer Friendly Communities. These are communities which support carers to look after their loved ones well, while recognising that they are individuals with needs of their own.
Caring for a friend or family member with a terminal illness can be both rewarding and challenging. We have a host of information which can help you know what to expect - from day to day caring to looking after your own needs.
You can also join the Marie Curie online community where you can share experiences, and find support you can trust, with people who understand.
